November 23, Ullr's Day, Tim and I spent the day on finishing touches - which took all day!
That morning Tim marinated a turkey for our quiet feast, then the rest of the day was ironing table clothes for the high table, arranging the table decorations and candles, chopping firewood for the wihstat and the smaller firepit on the back porch, last minute food preparation, and other tiny details that - if missing - can keep a huge gathering of guests from running smoothly.
As we sat down to eat we went over every item again, seeing if either one of us had done everything. There was not one item we imaged to had been left neglected or in need of being done.
Tomr .. the guests arrive!
